Understanding your results
"Every Genetrack test report is fully comprehensive and easy to understand. A summary of the conclusions of the test are provided along with the full DNA profile for each individual tested."
Understanding your grandparentage test report
Your grandparentage test report will provide you with an indication of whether a tested grandparent is the biological grandparent of a grandchild.
If only one grandparent is tested, the report will provide a "kinship" index. A kinship index above "1" is consistent with the tested grandparent being the true biological grandparent of a grandchild. A kinship index below "1" is consistent with non-relatedness.
If both grandparents were tested, the kinship index will be provided for each grandparent. Additionally, a reconstruction test is performed to reconstruct the genetic pool of the alleged father. If the childˇ¦s DNA does not match the DNA in the reconstructed genetic pool, then the test will conclusively demonstrate that the tested child is not the true biological grandchild of the grandparents tested.
